MACCON at TNSNAICON 2025 Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow: The Journey of a Nursing Student
On July 12th, 2025, the Tamil Nadu State 31st SNAI Biennial Conference – TNSNAICON 2025 – took place with great enthusiasm and a shared sense of purpose among nursing students from across the state. Held under the powerful theme “Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow: The Journey of a Nursing Student,” the event brought together emerging nursing professionals to engage, compete, and grow through a variety of academic, cultural and sports-based competitions.
Among the standout participants was M.A. Chidambaram College of Nursing, whose students not only attended with energy and dedication but also came back with prizes, memories and a renewed sense of pride in their chosen path.

MACCON’s students showed that physical strength, endurance and team spirit are just as important in nursing as mental resilience:
- Track Events: 100m dash, 400m relay – speed, stamina and teamwork ruled the field.
- Field Events: Javelin throw, discus throw, shot put and long jump brought out the raw athleticism of nursing students.
- Team Sport: The throw ball competition turned into a showcase of coordination, communication and competitive spirit.
